As you might already aware that the Hurricane Sandy continues to approach the North-eastern section of the United States, with landfall expected between Northern Virginia and Connecticut late Monday afternoon into Tuesday morning.
At this time, Our datacenter has informed us that they have completed all precautionary measures to reduce the risk of network impact during the storm or otherwise make repairs as quickly as possible. The latest forecast indicates that the storm will impact the coasts of Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey and New York, as well as reach inland into Pennsylvania, with strong winds, heavy rain, and potential flooding. The aforementioned states have declared a state of emergency in preparation for this storm event.
We already tied up with some Europe based datacenters, let¢s not hope but, in case our existing datacenter encounters any disaster. We will immediately point the name servers to the EU datacenter,
For further measures, we would request you to kindly take backups of your servers/sites & make sure to create an offline copy of the backups on your local system. Or else you can contact us to make a backup (FEE MAY APPLY) of your data, Or either you can provide us the URL of your backup file/files so we can make a copy of it on the EU server. So it can be retrieved in case of datacenter failure.
